Yes, there is everything fishy about this market. Exotic seafoods line the narrow streets of Beyoğlu and the cacophony of buyers and sellers is like music to a fish lover's ears. Octopus from Bodrum, grouper from Saroz Bay and calamari from Antalya are all beautifully displayed so as to provide a feast for the eyes. The market also has stalls of fresh fruits, vegetables and meat jostling for attention. And if the fish tempt you too much, no need to eat them raw, hop across to one of restaurants on the Nevizade Street next door, and dig in to the steaming fresh fish and delicious mezes served on the many chairs and tables placed on the streets.
